78 Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject faith fight in the cause of Tagut (Evil): So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan.
There are rumors(not mentioned in dayniile, simba, hiiraan)that the american warplanes attacked the muqawamah who do jihad fisabillah. This is a sign that the power of tigraay and dabadhilifs is broken otherwise they wouldnt need help from usa.
I dont know why some will fight their own government . it just doesnt make sense. We all know that clan militias are fighting to hold to what was stolen in 1991. Screw them. Viva Somali governemnt, and if you dont like them, then leave Somalia. I hate when a kid from mudug comes to mogadishu and says they want to "liberate" mogadishu. Mogadishu doesnt need your liberation, and the people see you as part of the problem and not the solution.
Why does he feel necessary to maintain his own separate army ?
Does he have no confidence in the TFG ?
Is it true that Abdullahi Yusuf plans to boot Gheedi out on the 12 of October (Eid) ? and if so, what will happen ?[/quote]
It is evident that tensions exist between the Prime Minister and Abdullahi Yousuf. However, rumors that Abdullahi Yousuf will “dismiss” Gheedi are unfounded and have no basis in reality. I am not denying that Abdullahi will like nothing less than Gheedi packing bags, but doing that would require extreme political maneuvers which I doubt the President and his people are capable. It is also apparent that the Prime Ministers controls the money of the country, and can easily buy off MPs when he wants to. Also, lately, the Prime Minister has been holding series of talks to rival clan leaders, and if actions are any-thing to go by, he is working hard to isolate the President. In fact, as Abdullahi Yousuf is being disarmed, Gheedi and Mohamed Dheere are taking control of new arms coming from overseas.
The Ethiopians are well aware that the President has no political mileage in him, and are not interested in being the bad-side of the Prime Minister, especially when he comes from a clan that dominates the capital and hinterland. Gheedi is stock-piling weapons, and winning the political and military support of his people, and as we speak the Mudulood clan is firmly in the PM’s camp. Any talk of Ali Mahdi coming back is pure bs. The Mudulood clan has made it clear that they are quite happy with the policies of Gheedi, and have no interest in turning back the clock to the failed policies of the 90s.
Abdullahi Yousuf is opening too many fronts for his people, which he/they know they can’t manage. Much as Aideed opened too many fronts for his people, creating more enemies than they could cope with, Abdullahi Yousuf is following the same destructive path. Time only tell, if his people will be overwhelmed and made irrelevant like Aideed’s people following the mad man’s death.
