Somalia: a prominent clergy gunned down over night in the port town of kismayu

Mogadishu 11, Oct.07 ( Sh.M.Network)- Armed group last night shot a well known Islamic scholar in the southern port town of kismayu

As to the reports Shabelle radio got from the area this group who carried the awful act was armed with pistols and Ak47 klanshkov. The deceased was called Sheikh Abdurahman Shire.
The place where the mullah is killed is the same section of the town where the spokesman for the sade tribes was injured yesterday in an explosion.

The motive behind the killing of this mullah is not apparent and the tension of the town is high this days.

The culprits escaped an caught but the security personnel said they will hunt down.
