Somali2003, make no mistake. Marehan will fight to the absolute death and inshallah crush any sort of taking of Kismayo by elements associated with Abdullahi Yusuf. Any sort of "TFG Armies" that would head to Kismayo be they Harti, Ogaden or anybody else will be fought to the death and hopefully destroyed. Any solution for Kismayo will be diplomatic and solved by waba hadal, and there will be no force that will just walk in and take it. I think Harti and anybody else would be wise not to throw themselves into AY's adventures because that will only be disaster for them. If you're using AY as the afhayeen of Harti then, no wonder the Sade Harti beef is at its peek now.

Let us promote security , not insecurity. No one will win this war within Darod. I agree diplamacy should work as the best form of solution, not resorting to voilence. Thus, and So far, Marehan has the upper hands and has shown how resolute and determined they are in defending a city they deem essential for the political and economic survival of their clan. What is missing here is the lack of engagement by the Marehan elites with the Harti and Absame and Tanade. Make yourself available for an open discussion for the future of the city, not coopting insignficant non-Darod clans. This unilateral action would not solve the problem and you will always live in fear and self-defense.
Somali2003, an agreement was made in Xamar and stictly Darood conference is to be convened October 27. However right after that, a couple of more Marehan businessmen in Nairobi were arrested by AY's urging. How is that gonna help? Anyway we'll see what comes out of this conference October 27.
Force will never solve the Kismaayo issue. the only thing that will solve it is dialoge, forgiveness and true brotherhood between us.
Abdullahi Yussef is very old, and the ethiopian army cannot stay forever, and somalis are quick to solve things by war, so let us hope we come to our senses and live in peace with each other.
Since no one clan can ever hold onto power forever, look at the tiny ceyr who managed to hold Muqdisho captive for so long, they now vaded, so neither weapons nor number can ever guarantee you victory, if that was so, then America who has unlimited supply of weapons and men power would have won in Iraq, vietnam or even in dusty muqadishu.
People will finish each other off if they do not come together for what's in their best interest.
What i cannot understand is why majerten or even the harti card are trying to get a special status, what would that prove? what would that mean? that you will get free food in the morning or something?
I would like to know 'How the Hawiye' managed to share Muqadishu so equally, and how the iidoor managed to share Xaargeysa so equally and why we are being so useless and in the somali term 'gun' when it comes to sharing??
why do we want to hoard everything for our own?? i mean i can understand if we are talking about strictly tribal towns like Garowe, qardho, las anood, badhan or Garbaharrey!
What this is a city no one clan can claim exclusively, this is a town we all migrated to and that is in our advantage.

@ Somali2003, I love the Warsangeli for their luv of their Darood brethrens when they gave us the name of "Darbi Darood" for recognizing our defense of the Darood people agains the nasty USC. damn damn daman damn the USC i can cook those f'uckers alive for what they did to our people, it was inhuman, savagery and unthinkable, and believe me they will pay for it, not in revenge, but when the millions of Darood's who fled to over sea's come back with millions of Dollars and literally RUN the Entire Somalia's economy in terms of Wealth, Education and sheer numbers: INSHA"ALLAH! I plan to build a huge azz VILLA in Muqadishu for the pure sake of shuffing it in their face, to tell them that, you know what?? i'm now back in Muqadishu to take it from you, and live in it, and you know why? Because it happens to be the Somali capital city!

we should AIM for Muslim Tourists from Rich Gulf countries, Malaysia, Singapore,
there are millios of Rich Muslims who would luv a beautiful tourist destination strictly for Muslims, in that way we can still make millions of dollars from tourists, and make sure our people are not infected by the sexually active and sick gaalo people, who go around the world looking for sex,
walaahi they disgust me,
that's what i hate about Tourists,
in Somalia we should really be carefull not to attract sick tourits like those in Indonesia(Bali) or Thailand, etc,e tc.

The future of Tourist Dollars will be from Rich Arab Countries and Asian muslims who are now frequently looking for nice places to relax and take their children.
I suggest Kismaayo beach, with it's white sandy beaches, cool temperatures, and lush coconut trees, few million dollars invested in Kismaayo and adjacent islands can result in millions of dollars of profit for the local people and the somali economy, plus they are muslim tourists with families so you are also making sure your people are not being influenced my immoral people.
