To be honest I became interested in Somali history before I became interested in Somalia, which is the way with me really, I get **** in by the history.

It was quite by chance really, I was doing research for a historical game, Europa Universalis II. In the game, which takes place between 1419 and 1819, Somalia just has "natives" in it, as opposed to states.

I didn't know anything about Somalia at the time, but I figured that it must be more interesting than that. I did some research and found out about the empire of Adel, and the sultanate of Mogadishu, but that still left a huge hole in the middle of the country.

The hole bugged me. I was sure there had to be something there. I dug further and found out about the Harti sultanates, and tantalizing clues, well passing references really, to the Ajuran sultanate, the Muzaffar and Fakhr ad-Din dynasties and the Geledi sultanate.

I'm still researching, three years on, and it's not even about the game anymore. In the process though, I ended up knowing a lot about Somalia. I came here originally asking about the Ajuran, and if anyone here knew anything about them. AbdiWahab252 still promises he'll get me info from his relatives one day.

Then the UIC took over the country, and that was really the last straw for me, I was hooked.
Dude, you're gonna have to give us genuine proof you're WHITE and live in Canada
I don't really care what people believe, I have never misrepresented myself.
This is the first forum where I've used my real name. And it's to keep me honest really.
Any proof I show you you would just reject anyways, so I don't see the point.
   this guy is SOMALI

What's the page he's locked? I'll look it up for you.

He probably requested it to be locked.

Adama isn't locked, and I don't see any edit comment like that.
In the history it says the Adama article was created by Gyrofrog.

What are you talking about? Can you not read? This guy is giving me a headache!

My IQ seems to be decreasing, I write something to you and your reply back with something that I did not address.

I doubt it. I know both Gyrofrog and you, and while Gyrofrog is a courteous and impartial contributor who cares about facts and truth, you are a haughty bitch who throws tantrums like an infant and accuses people of crap they never did.

There are many noble and honorable Somalis, and many are here on this board. Sadly there are also the cowards who hide behind their keyboards and fling hatred at people, and try and tear them down and their accomplishments, no matter what they are.

What the f*ck are you talking about? This is the first time that I have spoken to you on this forum. I do not know you from Wikipedia, it is a repulsive website, administrated by a bunch of men who wear skirts and have sticks up their ass.

You can not read, nor can your eloquate your stance on any issue.

Now this is the END of the discussion.

Just make a future map of Somalia and call it the Ocean State of Ethiopia.
