Go back and review this thread from beginning to end. If what you say is true then you have just proven my point. I have agreed with you up and down from side to side that Somali is the main language. But just because you speak one language does not mean you can't speak another.

Every language on the planet derived from somewhere. Where did the somali language come from? What influenced the evolution of it? Most have linkages to some other linguistic group so my guess is somali language wouldn't be any different. Can you tell me where it came?

So like I stated in the first place I think this whole IQ and race stuff is just garbage. I believe the short comings of blacks have to do with poor choices, lack of unity and arrogance. Not anything genetic.

Excellent point.

What’s interesting is that in many cases the test done with African Americans compared to whites didn’t show that big of a gap when fairly conducted. In fact most northern African Americans usually do better on these sorts of test than southern whites.

For the record there were a lot of test done in Africa too.

It would be worthwhile to delve deeper into why this study was done in the first place and to find out how correct the information recorded actually is.

Spanish was NEVER the native language of the US. It is adopted like any other european language spoken in the US. The native languages spoken in America in pre-Columbus days are too numerous to even mention. And in reference to the comments made about US being a 'mongrel bastard' the same can be said of Canada and a few other nations.

Somali language most definitely has some type of liguistic similarities with some other group or groups of languages that most of you don't even know yourselves.
