Well said Carabman. XP works for me so I am sticking with it.

Enemy of the Mad Mullah, I don't know much about uBuntu but Red Hat linux is nice. Anyway next time you download a new software, make sure to follow the directions as they are.....that is why you probably had a hard time with uBuntu.

Ubuntu is very user friendly. If he couldn't run that he'll definitely struggle with Red Hat. Vista isn't really that different from XP.

Man I have window XP professional that I downloaded from a hack forum, and it looks nice like vista but it runs better. :lol:

Depends on the serial used. There r enough serials that u can update with. let me know if u need any, i think i've still got one or two.

Appart from the enhanced graphic capabilities (Aero), i dont find it to be much different then Xp... if anything we should wait another yr for the bug problem to be solved and only then can it be classed as Generally better OS then XP. Vista "Ultimate" looks promising though.

Thanks bro but I don't need one. I love my dual boot XP/Ubuntu set up.

Nothing keeps kids/guests away from your computer than the unfriendliness of Ubuntu.

Has anyone used the new Microsoft Office 2007 i tink it comes wid de vista package its worse prefer the old microsoft office

i already get Vista original CD from ma faculty they distributed 600 copies for IT students seniors ...but i prefer Xp since ma PC ram is 1 GB its better to have XP ..Vista can slow ur PC if ur ram aint minimum 2 GB i into months im gona upgrade ma PC :lol: :lol:
