DEATH PENALTY?

Should the death penalty exist in a just society? Does the american government have the right to end one person's life?

For clarification, a just society, I believe, is any society that strives to be as just as it can humanly be.

Personally, I feel that the death penalty is arbitrary and not required in a just society. Take for example, the number of innocent in America that they have executed. The project, In Spite of Innocence, found that 463 innocent people have been executed in this century. Not only that, but it doesn't seem right to me that any number of people can decide whether or not a person has the right to live.

I don't know; I want to hear your thoughts on this topic.

It's not ur country 2 introduce a death penalty, and if it was (assuming ur muslim) u would have death penaltys cuz its in the deen
