Re: The "We" Syndrome:
We could never go that far as we have no "excuse" as the African American does. The Afro-Americans were enslaved for centuries as opposed to us coming free and by choice, how could we blame anyone. I have yet to see a Somali pointing a finger of accusation at the white man, maybe it's a new syndrome, I don't know, but what will they say when blame the white man?
Would it be something like "The mathafakking white man airlifted me when I was blissfully languishing in the abyssmal depths of Utange squalor, he offered me a resettlement (which by the way I never asked) for me and my family, he got a horrible job for me and offered me a high standard education, and he has the nerve of expecting me to finish and be a respectable member of society!!!! Darn, I will never do that, it's what the white man wants me to do.

Re: The "We" Syndrome:
The we has destroyed us and is still doing so unfortunately. I wouldnt mind it if we had law and order and but now it is causing more harm than it would have otherwise done.
That is why i dont identify with any we's but seek principles for safety and support.
May GOD help move on from this disease..aamiin.

Walaahay I like the way you wrote...You are joking, but there are people in this world who would say something of that sort..."Dadka waxaa loo soo gurayaa in la gaaleeyo"... I have heard that sentence so many times walaahay
Failures always blame others...I have met a guy who lived in this country for the last 30 yrs and he didn't improve himself at all...But he was blaming Siyad Barre for his failure.... Acuudu Bilaah...I said to him"
Walaal dee inleyn Siyaad kulama joogin Maraykan 30 soddon sanadoode, maxaad wax uun uga baran weydey ama uga faa'ideysan weydey fursadan aad heshey"
Xitaa bal u fiirsada Caddaanka kuwa failure-ka ah ayaa neceb immigrants-ka...

Re: The "We" Syndrome:
The criers of victimhood around here claim to see something different when they look in the mirror.

Re: The "We" Syndrome:
Screw
Do you get your information about AAs from StormFront and David Duke hand outs or what?
While I will be the first to admit that there are plenty of sorry a$$ negroes walking around talking about how they can’t get a job, go to school, blah blah because of the “White man” the majority of us are not like that.
We do however refuse to let our history and past experiences be white washed and sugar coated because it makes the general white population uncomfortable to know what there ancestors all the way up to there parents and grandparents did up in till the 1970s.
If it were up to most whites the American Slave trade would have resulted in something like from “Gone with the Wind” and the resurrection would have been like “Song of the South”
Screw. I would never go as low as to trivialize and water down the history and the struggles, both past and present, of your people. Please be respectful and don’t do it to mine.

Re: The "We" Syndrome:
^^I agree
Being a victim is not cool but what about the colonial legacy in somalia, is the white man not to blame for that. Only a fool would blame that for their personal failures but in the broader context of why Somalia failed as nation state the colonial legacy is up there.
