The honour in villifying warlords is not doing so after they put your aunts, cousins, uncles through a worse human casatrophie than Darfur. The honour is villifying them beforehand. These USC remenents were celebrated and treated like heros and revolutionaries because they did a terrific job cleansing Darood out of Xamar. How ironic these same warlords came back to clense Hawiye out of Xamar. If you let evil or an injustice prevail, don't think it won't come back to bite you.

As for a "struggle" theres no such thing in Xamar. Nationalisim, patritism, chilvalry, bravery were all things of the past. The people fighting for patriotic reason in Xamar could be less than 1%, maybe like .008. That being said I'm still with them, and hope Tigray leave tomorrow. Caadi waaye saxib, marba qabiilaa dusha laga saaran yahay because of some nutcase like A/Y who gets power on behalf of his clan. Somalis collectively blame clans without making exceptions. You do that everyday and others do it too. Nothing deep. All these people writing negative comments may have MJ friends in real life and some do have relatives who are MJ. They wouldn't insult someone they met for being an MJ or express hatred towards them in real life unless they are insane. My mother's first cousin is an MJ and so is my first cousin. I am careful not to make them feel guilty of something by making stupid comments in front of them. I even forego my rights to condemn A/Y to hell in front of them. They wouldn't say anything if I did that but still, knowing how deeply clan is engrained in the somali blood, I let them do the criticism on my behalf.


Defend your clan when others insult them but also understand that the same way it bothres you to see others vilify your clan, the same feeling is generated when you insult Hawiye for no reason otehr than show an inherent dislike for them. Surely, not all Hawiye did something to you or to your family, so it doesn't make sense for you to be insulting them or to be expressing somewhat joy in their displacement and misery.
