I don't know about the Ciise Maxamuud folks in Somalia, but the ones in Minnesota are anti-TFG, the men and elders for the most part.

But, withdrawal from the TFG only means that the elders no longer stake support in it. It doesn't mean that the hungry Ciise Maxamuud youth still won't serve in the army and the locals still won't pay their tiny taxes.

And anyway, is it fair that a large chunk of Puntland peoples' resources go to a dead-end organization that's based halfway across the country? How many Ciise Maxamuud men have died thus far in Xamar, they alone comprise upwards of 30% of the TFG casualties.

Those that still believe the TFG is a good place to stake one's money are mentally retarded and should go finger their gay mothers immediately.

The goat-rearing clan is not in the same situation as the fish murderers in Sanaag. The Ciise Maxamuud are not in a political squabble, its just a matter of WASTING resources like money and men by donating and volunteering these resources to an organization that is not producing a single fruit.

Would you invest in a down-ward headed stock for an entire year; wouldn't you at some point pull your money out and put them in another basket?

This isn't about Ciise Maxamuud vs. Puntland, it will never come down to that. Its only Ciise Maxamuud vs. throwing money away.

We all witnessed how the TFG is not fuctioning well. Today the TFG merely exists by name and through Ethiopian tanks. Ciise Riyoole don't have any influence on Somali politics and I doubt they will hurt the government if they all withdraw from the Government.
