Somali Kenyans are Somalis with the least pride! they don't have a rebel group who fights for their independancy like ONLF, they don't have their own schools or media to rally thier people.
I have seen one Sijui guy and u know what he did, he tear out the Somali flag from his car, and put over a Kenya flag --that was the most disrespectful thing a person could do to a country --I was about to crash his car --but they was a camera watching.

You will find them in Kenya websites speaking Kiswahili and thinking they are Kenya --I just don't know what is wrong with this ppl --what they luck?

Kenyan Somalis are not Somalis. I remember a guy on facebook saying that he's just Kenyan. Oh well. Who needs them anyways. I hear Djiboutans are even worse and they look down on Somalis from Xamar and Hargeisa. Its pretty sad how European border divisions can change the ethnicity of Somalis. Never mind the fact that we have Kenyans like "mwara" who calls us Warya. What these Suijis don't realize is that they will never be accepted by the Kenyans.

Instead of hating on them for being Kenyan try and learn what it is that makes them Kenyan. Oops !! What am I saying?? You're the same one who admits trying to cancel their Kenyan accent so they sound British!!
Its the sense of belonging to a nationstate,yes with issues still to be resolved , that true waryaas will never understand.Like I've said Kenyan waryaas are much more humanised thanks to human interaction than you people.

Well what do expect it was being discussed here a few weeks ago that the some on the Somali side of the border with Kenya want to become part of Kenya. RIP Somalia when you have some begging for gumeysi to escape other Somalis and Somalia.

What do you want them to be loyal to ? Can you blame them for holding onto another identity when being from somalia = begger, refugee, failed state, anarchy.

To become part of a team or any corporate entity,or any joint endeavour every stake holder must feel a personal stake somewhere within the enterprise-be it financial, emotional or otherwise.
Whatever it is that makes Kenyan Somalis feel part of the identity of Team Kenya is thus a positive development that should be encouraged.
It is beyond the shallow emotiveness of having a national team to root for or a flag (merely the symbol) to wave. Having a nationstate to call ones own is a concept that unfortunately most waryaas will never understand.
