The Pentagon really wants to use SomaliLandand ditch Djbouti as Djbouti is tiny and the U.S can get a lot more facilities in SomaliLand, but the US State Department is sayin hell no.
The State Department is staunchly against this and won't give the Pentagon the go ahead. The State Department is who invites leaders, sends aid, etc. and they are the ones sayin hell no to supporting SLand so why would they invite Riyaale.
I'm not asleep sxb it makes sense.

Why do you think NFD and Ogaden region which have different religion and ethnic background from Ethiopia and Kenya can't get independancy, but Somaliland which have the same ethnic background and religion as Somalia --will get recognized? It won't happen, and before it happens --NFD and Ogadenia will take indepedancy!
