my friend from Oman was telling me of a crazy guy who lived in their village when they were kids.

He would always have the most common sense answer for everything and once they asked him why doesn't he go pray with them, he said: "Dee soo ma waalni?"

Mental illness is a taboo among somali's, look at this forum for example, you can tell a few people are not right in the head but they don't seek treatment.

You've got different types of mental illnesses that effect people in different ways......some people are normal like you and me but commit certain deeds that deems them as being a danger to society while others are mentally ill as they don't know what they're doing, cant talk etc etc.
