Sadeboi, I was once fluent in maaymaay, we lived next to eelaays in beledxaawo and nairobi, and I was friends with them, dude once you learn the basics, Ull be natural in no time. Plus ur barawa ex-best friend speaks it all the time, so I picked it up again from her, lol

it's really nice. Unfortunately I didn't understand much of it . I like how versatile the young man is, he switches up to regular somali when he's interviewing the sheikh. I was just reading that it recently got classified as a language in its own right. Though these classifications are sometimes arbitrary, if this helps its promotion and preservation and keeps it from being overshadowed by the somali, I say right on! I think if should also be given an official language status in Somalia.
