If Silanyo runs for Presidency, I'd back him as long he's showing pure nationalism. He has no history of wrongdoings, so I don't mind a bit if he gets a chance to run Somaliweyn. I just despise those who hide behind Islam to reach some cheap clannish goals

Seelaanyo is far from Somaliweyn, he is the most Pro-Somaliland politician that we have today in JSL. He is the longest serving SNM chariman, he was the man behind the first Somaliland government. Seelanyo did disagree with both Tuur and Cigaal AUN and is an opposition leader of Kulmiye, however, Seelaanyo never faltered from his firm stand for an independent Somaliland, he is a believer in the two state solution for problems in Somalia, that is a free Somaliland and Somalia living side by side. This is a man who served and suffered for his country, was alwats loyal to it, some oppose him some love him, one thing is clear, Seelaanyo is a Somaliland hero and our next JSL president who will lead Somaliland to a brighter future under his leadership

Silanyo is a realist,who has the well being of isaaq's at heart.Their are people who invested no time or effort in the start up project that was somaliland.Who are trying to use somaliland as a shield to protect themselves from the angry population,who are asking their leaders honest questions.Like were is the independence and when will it be delivered,whats plan b and is their a chance of somaliland ever becoming independant.This debate needs to be discussed at the highest level of office in somaliland.But it seems what the curent leadership in somaliland is doing is to stop this debate,they would blame it on none other then one of the founding fathers of somaliland silanyo by accusing him of being pro somalia and anti somaliland.Silanyo's CV is like a ray of hope in a time of dark clouds circling somaliland.The Original faqash fighter will once again fight the evil faqash forces in his own backyard.Could have been wtitten in hollywood.Rambo aint got shid on Silanyo out hero..

So tell me the SNM what does it stand for .....SOMALILAND NATIONAL MOVMENT or SOMALI NATIONAL MOVEMENT.You know the history full well the SNM end goal was never somaliland,we just found ourselfs at this destination.And if the SNM and somaliland are one and the same why is the chairman of the SNM not the president of somaliland.Why are the enemies of the SNM leaders of somaliland today.
Facts on the ground lead us to the truth.You can be anti-SNM and be president of somaliland and you can be the chairman of SNM and be treated like a common fool.
The two idiology somaliland and SNM are not the same i dont confuse them nor should you.
SNM was a popular honest reaction by people who were being victimized by the state and its stated goal was justice for common isaaq.Somaliland idiology is not very popular was never that popular because it is lead by people who care about nothing not somaliland not SNM or isaaq.It stated goal is international recognition and independence by redrawing colonial whiteman borders and dividing up somalia into small peaces.I dont support this, i also dont support forcing people(dhulbahnte&warsengeli)into joing this state against their will.Its wrong and because i am HJ and isaaq does not change this fact.I have never met a dhulbahnte or a warsengeli some in my familly who are pro-somaliland,the only reason why they are excepting the current situation is from a position of weakness and we dictate from a position of strength.
