Somalis apologize to the Somali Bantus.

My fellow Somalis, Australia has last week apologized to
the aboriginal Australians for their mistreatment and the grave injustice inflicted on them in the past.

certain extend did mistreat the Bantu Somalis, and some of

What the whites did in Australia to the original inhabitants are grave human rights abuses. And an apology after ethnically cleansing them, taking over their land and overflooding their communities with intoxicates, is not enough. One day they will rise again and retake their lands lol.


In Somalia, the Bantu Somalis were brought by the foreigners as slaves. They were then freed men and established their own communities in Somalia. Sure, Cushitic Somalis have discriminated them, but the same happens within Cushitic Somalis: i.e discrimination of midgaan groups, and even discrimination/prejudices between the clans.

The Bantu Somalis along with all disenfranchised Somali groups should be emancipated and treated as equals. But to compare Somali case with Australia is preposterous!

Somali Bantus are richer than most Nomadic Somalis (in the south), they have more food and are farmers....In Australia the whites are richer than the aboes, so the case is not the same!

About the bantus the 1st time I saw any somali bantus was in Hargeysa back in 1996 or 97 .
A business man in Hargeysa { we won't name him} friend with some Hawiye wealthy guys in Xamar { read warlord we won't name either} recruited a whole group of Bantus to work in the construction industry in Hargeysa . Back in those days , the city was booming and houses were being built all over the place at a record pace. Now keep in mind most of the SNM veterans as well as the former militia men after being demobilized had found a job and were making a living in that sector of the economy , wastaad..etc..etc.
This reer Hargeysa business man recruited the bantus for he was paying them lesser wages , and they were less of a headache from his perspective than " kuwii kaadidooda u soo cabay dalka " LOL.
Anyway, I used to chew with a lot of these guys ,as there were my friends and relatives. Markaa war waan ka hayay xaaladan , they have sent a formal complaint about the Bantus { illegal} workers to the appropriate authorities and wasaaradda shaqaalaha , ect..etc..
Nothing has been done about it !! I knew they were pissed .
One early morning as I just stepped out of the masjiid { I was a faithful muslim back then} I see a mob of angry mujaahids with their bakoorad , trotting towards me remeniscent of the Zulus on their way to battle.

I decide to joing the rioting crowd towards Jijiga Yar as I was gathering intelligence along the way .

Waan ka daba oordaa anna , same thing shacabka gurihii laga dhisayay , State House-ka dabadiisa , same thing , then back to Jijiga Yar .
We then came up on this house where a lot of them were working . The bantus looked scared and were rounded up , I stepped in the middle , " Aar inaga daaya Ilaahina haddaad ka baqaysaan waa beriyo Ramadaan ee " baan ku idhi . Nothing !! they started hitting me and all the bantus .LOL.
I then had to do something !! I pulled out my makarov and shot twice in the air .One of my cousin bluntly took it out of my hands and pushed me aside as his buddies were working their bakoorad on the bantus. LOL.
Luckily the police alerted by the shots , came running towards us and their firing in the air above us calmed down the mob . They took the bantus and placed them in protective custody . True story wallah .

Do you know that the Bantus are the only Somali clan who elect their most educated to lead them ? All of their leaders are college graduates. You got to hand it to them.

Somali bantus got just as bad treatment as many other Somali clans: Midgaan, Nomads, etc.

Do you know that Somali Bantus were the lead force in the war against SSDF ? They were notorious for the kufsi of women in Baari during the Operations to quell the SSDF. Somali Bantus also were in the army & some of the best soldiers were Somali bantu.
