Bosaso is a focking like an ovan in summer. It is a hell hole where the temp soars above 50 Degree!!!

They have no where to run to except to Qardho where the temp is slightly lower but still unbearably hot for humans to bear. Qardho average summer temp according to Wunderground.com is like 40 Degrees.

They are caught between a rock and a hard place.

The foreign workers take a 2 month leave when this weather hits.

"Even the weather seemed pleasantly different: a cool breeze floated over Hargeysa at night." says a REporter who spent a night in Bosaso and came to Hargeisa the next day ( http://www.somalilandtimes.net/sl/2005/222/08.shtml )

"Coming out of the plane, one could feel a cool breeze, under a bright blue sky" Says a Foreigner who came to Hargeisa ( http://charlesfred.blogspot.com/2005/11 ... -last.html ).

Berbera is hot, no doubts. But hardly anyone lives in Berbera when the heatwave hits. Everyone goes to the interior which are normally 20 to 30 degrees during the day and below 20 at nights. It is the reason why we have the "xagaabax" in our lexicon. Bosaso have no such thing as "xagaabax", if they leave Bosaso and go to Qardho it is as focking hot.
