Do you ponder over why?

Do you listen to a love song, a catchy song, or another that injects unexpected energy into you and you want to get up from your seat and dance, then suddenly you wonder why are songs forbidden?

Well, I did, and the explanation I can come up with is this false sense of happiness and delusions these beautiful songs create. It is easy to get sidetracked from the main objective in life and lead an unfulfilling spiritual life.

What is your take on it? Share your thoughts if you ever had the same thoughts, or you have an idea about the wisdom of songs being forbidden.

Well, A Funny guy once told me that he once heard a sheikh say that when you hear music and feel a need to dance it's the Shaydaan putting his finger up your Arse and making you jump about and dance, no lie. lol

Luckily, a muslim who remembers and mentions God's name doesn't suffer such indignity unknowingly. It is said satan shares everything with people if they don't mention God's name including their wives.

I am still searching a wiser explanation than Ibliisi's folly with mankind. He is tied to the issue but is there another explanation?

Satan is on the brawl and on the hunt for cheap deals with regards to housing, food and sex. He has plentiful sexy women from his ilk of non-believing jinnis, but to fock a human woman is a sort of an adventure for him and a ridicule for the humans. Make sure you mention Allah's name before you succumb to the touches of your man and lose your mind, there could be a third party to the sizzling love-making of yours. If either one of you forgets to mention Allah's name, you are in for threesome, guaranteed.
