In Mourning

Asalama Alaikum Waramatulahi Wabarakatuhu.

Brothers and Sisters I am in mourning because for the majority of the somali youth Hayya (sense of shame, modesty etc) has died out.

I'm in mourning for the death of Hayya this day

The Prophet Sallahu Alye'Wasalam said;
On the authority of Ibn Umar: The Prophet (sas) came upon a man who was criticizing his brother for hayaa, saying: 'You are so modest (or so shy).' as if he meant to say that this has harmed him. The Prophet (sas) said to him: 'Leave him, for hayaa is from faith.'. Al-Bukhari

And He also said; If you have no Shame then do as you please"

I look around me and i see sisters and brothers free-mixing, i see sister wearing skimpy clothes and being vulgar, i see brothers chewing khat and trying to chat sisters up i see the devil triumph over my sisters and brothers in islam.

Where is the Hayya?
Where is the modesty in speech, clothing and manners?
It is as if it has died...but inshallah we will rekindle it.

So i ask you brothers and sisters...are you ready to die?
If the answer is no then you need to evaluate your life and act upon the Quran and Sunnah and live you life as if everyday is the last!

Wa alaykum salam wara7matullahi wabaraktuhu bro/sizz the only thing that we can do is give dacwah kindly to the misguided and do not fret over people who choose to be misguided because it is truly Allah that guides and misguides. Wallahu calem wabarakallahu feeki walal.
