Seriously, I always find it amusing that parents are expecting their kids to be just as Somali as they were at their children's age.

If your kids are good Muslims and can speak Somali at a Sijue level, count your blessings.

The thing is back home kids were raised by more than the 2 immediate parents so in essence , caruutu keligood iska may so kori jirin .
The same laid back attitude here in the West will only produce waste !

Every parents wants the best for their kids and all depends on how you raise them...Walaahi raising kids in this gaalo society is not easy...the kids are spending most of there time with gaalo oo maanta oo dhan dhaqankooda iyo diintooda uga sheekenya and they come home and the parents have to deal with all that...that is a problem parents back home never had....ON TOP of that the FATHER is never around so all the responsibility is the mothers....subxanallah.....pray for all the strong mothers outthere folks.
