Bro's and Sis your all going off point criticising eachother, they whole point of this Topic to get more information about HIJAAB. And Uponsullifiya has given me some great information Illaheey kheer ha ku siiyo abaayo.

Enlightened sista and Abdi, just stop arguing with eachother. Agree to disagree because at the end of the day its not between you and others to see who is right or wrong. Fact is every individual will be judged by ALLAH as many of you already said. There is no point you guys pointing out eachothers fault we all have our own faults. But we can learn from eachother and improve them, but not by arguing and critisicm.

Enlightened~Sista horta what have you got against girls wearing hijaab? Abdi_westldn is right yo know
" if a sister wants to get closer to Allah she has to follow his rules" plus it doesnt matter if the girl is a h.o.e or not, you only suppose to judge what you see. let em them be h.o.e.s allah will deal with them
and anyways thats not an excuse to say all girls that wear hijaab are h.o.e.s plus only think about yourself, start wearing hijaab and be religous than maybe you can bad mouth other sisters.

Jazakalah Khayr for the Dua abayo it means alot!

And did you know that when you make dua for your brothers and sisters in Islam, you get the same reward and dua as for the one you made it for?
So hasten to make dua ukhtii.

As for the issue of the Hijab then here is a fatwa regarding it (the reason why i am giving you this is so that you see it is not my opinion but legislated jurisprudence of Islam in other words Figh)

http://www.fatwaislam.com/fis/index.cfm?scn=fd&ID=498

Sister these Fatwa's have been made by the greatest Scholars of our time, the likes of Sheikh Fawzan, Shiekh Bin Baz, Shiekh Albani, Shiekh Uthaymeen, Shiekhul Islam Abdul-Wahab (Rahimahullah)
Just to name a few.

For Fatwa's go to http://www.fatwaislam.com/fis/index.cfm
So that you see the correct rulings for everything in our daily lives rather than
hearsay and doubts for remember doubts are from the Shaitan!
Inshallah don't let anyone tell you about Islam without proof and this proof must be from Quran and Sunnah with the Correct Interpretation of the Ulema!

As for coming across rude or arrogant i apologise, i was just taken aback by Enlightened Sista May Allah guide her...as for dissing the jilbab and Niqab...May Allah have mercy upon you sister fro know that making fun of this Deen is a grave sin;

"And if you were to ask them, they would say: 'Surely we were
only jesting and playing.' Say: 'Was it Allah, His Verses,
or His Messenger you were mocking? Make no mistake,
verily you have disbelieved after your belief.'
Soorah at-Tawbah (9):65-66

The Female companions of the Prophet Sallahu Alye'Wasalam used to wear jilbab and Niqab and you are mocking it?

Was it Allah and His Messenger you were mocking?
