they more (non muslims) bad mouth about islam, the more people read about it, and so the more people convert..all this negative media is only causing more people to find about about islam, and read the quraan kariim....i can remember when the cartoons of prophet mohamed came out many danish people searched who nabi mohamed was and what islam is and why muslims reacted the way they did the quran (translated to danish) was sold very quickly...
here story i would like to share.
i read it inarabic so i adkeysta
i translating it in my weak english and somali :
there was a king and he had a wise assistance who used to be with him all the time.
every thing happens the assistance would say la3alaho khairan
mean it may khair then the king calms down.
the king loved him and made him even closer.
one day the king cut his finger,
the assistance said as usually it may khair.
the king got very upset and said what khair in it cutting my finger.
he ordered to put him in jail
then he said la'3alaho khairan.
one of the days the king went for hunting.
he wondered away from his guards then the idol workshipers
got him and they wanted to sacrifice him to their idol god.
but they found he's missing a finger.
they left him because you cannot sacrifice if missing any finger, eye or any of that.
the king back in his castle so scared and asked to bring the assistance from the jail.
he apologized and asked now i know why you said it may khair when i cut my finger.
tell me why you said it may khair when i ordered to prison you?
he said because they would leave you and kill me
for they god.
the lesson of the story.
every thing from God is khair even when we don't think so
and there are many thing we do hate but it's good in the end
and leads to a good consequesses.
as this danish cartoon and 9/11
many people who never heard about islam or know about any thing
opened their eyes and read more about islam.
some even converted.
alhamdullilah for every thing.
I read that story before Hyper. The assistant always said "It is good, because it is Allah swt will", even when things looked bad. We basically cant see the whole picture but just a fraction of it, what may look bad may actually be good.
