This mysterious island, which is in very close proximity to Somalia, yet the decision to givet to Yemen hasnt been contested.
Look what we're missing out on...

I watched a documentary about this aages ago.The ppl i believe are not Somali..they could be a mix between arabs and africans tho..kinda like many Omanis.

where is this place? how come i've never heard of it before? i often fantasize about picturesque uninhabited beaches like that and so far my favorite place in this god forsaken earth is New Zealand.

The socotrans are actually an ancient Semitic race, who have their own language which is close to Southern arabic, and Amharic, they arent african. The Omani Africans are just descendants of coastal East African slaves.

Given the rate were killing our wild life, burning our threes and etc. I suspect in 40 years Somalia will become mini desert. Lets just hope we don't kill each other over desert then; Somalis
