I dont know what kind of emotionally scarred women you've known in your life. But if a man says I love you to a woman and means it....most likely the feeling is mutual and its a stepping stone to a better relationship.
A person who runs when they hear I love you has emotional insecurities and may think they dont deserve it.

Im just sayin, in a meaningful realtionship those exchnage of words can mean alot.
Perhaps Im over-compensating when I say I love to family n friends cause I feel guilty that I dont spend as much time with them. I cant imagine not saying it to my family or my friends in that fact....and reciprocity is perfect....atleast for me!

You know my dear when a man truly loves you, you should not wait or need to hear him say I love you cause you will be sure of it... you will be able to understand how he feels by just looking into his eyes and you should be able to see it in his actions. Cynical me realistic more like it and yeah ex commitophobic too before I have met my husband.

I agree with you. When a man loves a woman...his actions speak volumes...but thats how men are...they are action oriented, visual creaturs...women on the other hand are more audio-centric. So they like to hear those words, even tho they know can feel it.

lol I've been "in love" once in my life and I dont regret it all. It was an amazing expreince. Although we're not together anymore, we remain cordial with eachother and speak from time to me. I cant sit here and say I wasn hurt...of course I was hurt.....but, when you let yourself open to that kind of exprience....you to have to be willing to accept the good with the bad. In my case the good far outweighted the bad. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldnt change a thing....
Love is bad but it hurts so good...lol

loooooool...I dont see why someone else needs to be punished (if at all) for a lack of a better word for somoene elses character flaws. Its a two way street...when someone gets into a serious relationship, you run the risk of getting a heart or two broken...its part of the "terms and conditions".

Those who lash out at the greater male population dont have the emotional capability to let go of their own anger.....so dont take it personally when they lash out...its cause they're hurt and they dont know how to let that pain go.....they will come around eventually....just take ur space from that type person...wheather its a man or woman.

Great Advice call me emotional, sad pathetic or whateva..but I never have a problem expressing my feelings to the people i love...I always express my love for others whether they are my family, friends or my husband...

but oh boy, when people get on my bad side....lord have mercy on their poor souls..
