I understand Ceyrow was linked to the murders of Martin Adler and Sister Leonella. If the Ayr clan turned him in, politics are indeed changing. I can't honestly say this particular martyrdom offends me. Allah ha u naxariisto for those among the collateral damage.
The Ayr disowned him after he desecrated the Italian graveyard in 2005. Also the traditional leaders of Dusamareb didn't trust him and figured he was going to try and usurp power from them.

I've been saying this for the last 3 years. The fact that there were so many Ayr in the UIC leadership really was a coincidence, the clan and clan leadership itself is hardcore Qabiilist and anti-UIC. The Ayr Ugas even donated technicals to Qeybdiid while he passed through the town.
War heedhe maad af Somali iskaga hadashiid?

As for Ayro... Ilaahaye ha uu naxaristo.

Ismahaan ya Majnuuuun, leave the guy alone. He said numerous times he's not Somali. What's so difficult to understand? Who cares what/who he is....either debate on his points or leave him alone..

Btw, The Cyr clan is one mean group. Aren't they also the ones responsible for Aidiid's death?

Ismahaan, I would've responded if that french nurse didn't butt in.

Answer me this though; why is Cayr killing or giving up on their famous "fighters"? What's up with that?

It's not just Ceyr, it's every Somali clan.
Tons of the UIC courts were Sacad, and yet who fought them more than the Sacad clan leaders? Mukhtar Robow is fighting his own elders in Bay and Bakool, and Sheikh Sharif was opposed by virtually the entire Abgaal traditional leadership.

This is where the "UIC was Qabiilist" argument breaks down.

I don't see that at all, Moalim Aden Hashi Ayrow just became the Somali version of Che Guevera.

In real life Che was an overzealous loose cannon, so much so that Castro sort of shuffled him out of Cuba because he was killing too many "class traitors" and basically making them look bad, where he died in South America. In death though, he transformed into a hero and icon.

The fact that the Shabab rejects Qabiilism is both their greatest strength and weakness. It means that every clan leader and warlord is always opposed to them, but at the same time their support base includes every clan, and they are not limited to a particular region.
