I used to post here as anonymous. I registered in 2002 but I really started posting here in 2006.........found out about this site while in a high school class called, "computers & you". lol

From what I understand, many Somali's, not knowing their actual birthdates, were given Jan 1, 1969 as a standard birthdate on their bassaboor. Therefore it was incorporated into the Somalinet join date as a novelty. I think.
