Re: Soomaali "dhikr"
Im not a fan of Naqshabandi Haqaani tariqah or Shaykh Nazim.
but whats wrong with 'dhikr' ..Didnt Allah s.w.t encourage us to engage in dhikr? Why are you laughing at them

Re: Soomaali "dhikr"
correct me if im wrong but..dont you sometimes talk about meaningless things here on this forum??
who are you to ask me that question..its not like they are glorifying the Shaytaan ..those people are not glorifying anyone except Allah s.w.t and praising none other than RasullAllah peace be upon him...whats YOUR problem?

Re: Soomaali "dhikr"
Easy this is just a forum not the real world, i asked you the question to see what your response will be
calm down let me explain to you
The Sufi's do this for Dhikr purposes right?
Did the Prophet ever do this?
LA WALLAHI
Argument ended, Wa sharrul Umoori Muhdathaatuhaa, Wa kulla Bid'atin dhalalah, wa kulla dhalahtin fin-naar" Al-Hadith (Sahih Muslim). Translation of the above Hadith: Every innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance goes to Hell fire.

Re: Soomaali "dhikr"
Enemy let me explain something to you.
There is "Dhikr"
then there is "Hadra"
Dikhr is having the name of your god and his prophet on your lips, your heart, and your soul...saying Subxaanahaalah is dhikhr...saying Alxamdulilaah is dhikr...say Allahuma sali calaa mahamed is dhikr
What these guys are doing...this institutionalized conduct is called "Hadra"...not dhikr, but Hadra so call it Hadra
there is nothing wrong with Dhikr but Hadra is frowned upon
