Luuq Ganaane is treversed by the Jubba River (known as "Ganaane River in Ethiopia"). By the way Luuq Ganaane the CITY and Luuq Ganaane the District are too completely different things. This does not look like the city but a tuulo ka tirsan the district anyways it probably dries up outside of the rainy season.According to the many archived articles I have read, Gedo like most other Somali region has always had recurrent drought and irregular seasonal rainfall.
The only green in Gedo is where the Jubba river runs, the rest 90% of the region is no greener then Galgaduud or Mudug. It is a product of its geographical zone including southeastern Ethiopia and parts of NFD.
