This dude has refused to divorce my eedo. The poor lady is miserable and hasn't seen him in months. She caught him cheating with this other woman and has done everything to ask for a divorce but the guy is refusing.

If I was living in Africa or any 3rd world nation, I would have gathered some of my other relatives and we would have whooped his arse into giving her a divorce.

Any tips/religious guidance on this matter ?

If the law enforcement in this country were not great, I would have kicked his arse but the long arm of the law would catch up with me.

Sxb I think it should be investigated whether in naagto kumehersantahay iyo inkale. if it is proven that she is not in his meher, let her go to the nearest shiikh and tell him My husband is zanii and I need the thalaqa. By islam, he is suppossed to be stoned to death if he has commited zina so he has no rights to keep married. the shikh would give her certificate and that would be the end of the story. but I caughtion that a real investigation is needed to proof that he is zanii. If he is zanii don't make him feel important. He has lost his rights in islam and can just be divorced himself instead of him divorcing her.
