it is the kenyan version. it has less saliid and contains other ingredients and overall it tastes better.

Wow, I always thought only Somali Kenyans ate Mandazi, guess other skinnys know about it too.

I always thought 'bur' and Mandazi were different.

I don't think bur and mandazi are the same thing. At least in my family they've always been sort of different.

I'm pretty sure they are the same thing. When our sijui friends came over for Afur in Ramadan they called the bur mandhazi

Yeah, we call "bur" Mandazi as well. They're pretty similar, but not exactly alike. It's much better imho.

You use a different tone when saying it, otherwise it ends up saying like the somali word for "Breakfast". Instead of "Quraac" you say "Quraac" Never mind, you have to hear it to notice the difference. WTF is Mandazi? My name is not Simba.

Mandhazi deep fried in Kimbo is great. I used to love to pick one up before going to school. Mama Wanjiiru's Kiosk served the best
