few days ago i met this habashi look like guy in the suppermarket, i assumed was habashi.
my father was with me.
the guy was supper nice and keep asking us questions.
i asked him are you ethiopian, even though i already assumed he was one.
he said yes
then he returned the question and you? i said im from ogaden region.
right the way he said from jigjiga?
i said not really but close.
his face has changed and he sais hinself he is eriterian but grow up in ethiopia so that's why he says he is ethiopan.
my father later on told me
next time you see habashi just say somali
because they like somalis from somalia
they think we hate them in that area.
being from that area and refusing to call your self ethiopian that makes them feel unconfortable.

you could be from Djibouti or Kenya

whats hard about saying you are Somali? thats what your dad is, your clan is a somali one, you speak somali better than many kids your age

i just want to make a point my land is wrongly in isti3maar by them.
so they need to know our land known inside ethiopian boarder but im not ethiopian.
