I heard today he is back on the streets the Government put him in control of his all block dayniile and section by section as the beloved war-lords are returned peace will prevail in Mogadishu. The only difference is this time the war-lords answer to a Federal Government and these guys head Government troops and used them to patrol their old blocks in Mogadishu. Salaries are being paid by the Government. No roadblocks just intensive security in tribal area to keep the peace. They are also creating Neighborhood jails across the Capital and Police Headquarters for every neighborhood.
Clan Politics will never leave Somalia. specially the Capital until it becomes diverse again The Government is taking advantage off it this clan politics that exits. Mogadishu is divided in to tribal blocks and putting well known tribal war-lords in these areas only helps.
