How do you approach Reer Xamar?

I mean when you wanna ask their daughter's hand for marriage for someone else? Like your brother or cousin?

My cousin is in love with a reer Xamar (Ashraaf) chick, she loves him too and they wanna get married, they are actually serious. He asked me to represent him and ask her father's permission. Now, this is not something I have done b4 and it really scares the sh!t out of me.

What if I mess up and the whole deal is blown up? What if I do not fulfill some of the commandments in the procedure? What if he rejects flat out? I am not good at accepting rejections, I might even punch the old dude and say things I would regret.

What if things work well but my cousin fukks up things afterwards, would I be blamed for it?

I am treading on thin ice that has not been explored in our circles.

It depends on the Rer Xamar you are talking about. If they are those "somali hating" ones then don't bother. IF they are not, just approach them. If given a hard time, just tell them things could be worse: Pakistani or Rer Kunte Kinte.

Btw, there are many Tunni Odeeyal in the States. ASk them saxiib, you have no business asking on behalf of your cousin since you are not an ODeey and for God's sake you are a Casanova. What would it say about your cousin ?

Word on the street is, every reer xamar girl is on lock now. They've heard what your people have been doing in Xamar. I doubt any sane man wants their daughter in the West to marry low life HG's. Nice try though.

I don't know about her dad, whether he is a Somali hater or not, but the chick is cool, besides, dhaqan plays a vital role in such precarious situations and I don't know much about the intimate reer Xamar dhaqan. That is my worry
