Is this departure from the Somali Norms or the Unintended Consequences of living in the West.
When we are bombarded with prejudicial forms of information (through relative deprivation, media and western schools) we don't simply approve of it in the first place, but the info penetrates deep into our subconscious minds eventhough we aren't aware of it. WE later ignore to assess its invalidity but accept it as the harsh realities of our lives.
The time we come to Understand that we have external enemies who don't recognize your existance other than prolonging the agony of Somalis by manipulating and exploiting your weakness, by corrupting your cultural and religious foundation, by depriving you of your resources and of the right to be a master of your own destiny, by issuing hypocritical Press releases condemning the brutal actions they created and covertly support, by empowering the least educated and the most ignorant ones among us to rule and lead us, then that is the time we would have the ability to overcome the centrifugal aspect of conventional somali institutions such as kinship ties, that is time we fiercely fight those who debauch our loyalty to Somali nationalism, and that would be the time we firmly establish sustainable peace throughout Somalia.
It's the states of nature that one man's gain is another man's loss. The only way to overcome this powerful alliance from perpetually gaining your resources and placing your country and people in bondage is to muster enough intellectual, financial, technological and manpower resources to do two important elements:
- fight for the Unity of Somali Nation and
- Appeal to South Africa, Nigeria, Malaysia, Qatar, United States, and Saudi Arabia for the reconstitution of Somali State.
