Sheikh Sharif asks Arab peacekeepers to replace Ethiopians

Sheikh Sharif met Amir Muse Secretary general of the Arab League last Sunday in Cairo and requested Arab forces to replace the Ethiopians. Though some Arab countries have expressed reservations, they also warm to the idea and need to study the details of troop deployment, said Amir Muse.

May Allah SWT help Sheikh Sharif's effort for peace in Somalia.

Dream for peace is better that drumming for more Somali bloodshed. Somalis have suffered worse than any humans and may Allah SWT bless Sheikh Sharif for his efforts to bring peace to the suffering of Somalis. It is easy to dismiss peace from the comforts of the loungerooms in the West, but it means hope of life, or more suffering to Somalis in Somalia.
Arabs have kindly donated billions of $$$ to Somalis. If Somalis are ready for peace, they will help them.

Somalis have leaders who are all militia or factional leaders and even if the Ethiopians leave tomorrow they will be all fighting over the spoils of war. We don't have leaders who can clearly think that only through peace initiatives can Somalia get out of this black hole and achieve peace. Who will suffer? More Somalis. This could only give breathing space to mass traitors like AY, Abdiqeybdid and Darwiish and further continue somali's problems.

If Barrack Obama gets elected than it would be certain that the Tigrays would be forced to pull out of somalia because of the lack of funds.

Lets stick with the Islamic courts who have a clear proven positive track record.

Sheikh Shariff now needs to re-adjust because things have changed dramatically in the last four months, the resistance has captured somalis 2nd largest city and we are now taking on the ethiopians head on.

Sheikh should be asking arab nations to help fund the liberation of somalia and provide the somali people with much needed weaponry to liberate their nation.

Why are you demanding for more weapons when 3.2 million Somali civilians are now on the verge of starvation? Liberia, Rwanda Sieraleone, Angola, had all civil wars and now found peace, only Somalis are very stubborn not to consider peace as a solution.

What Islamic Courts? Do you think Kismayo wars was necessary? Who controls it? Is that the end of it?

Those 3.2 million people are on the verge of famine because of the Abyssinian devastation and brutal occupation of somalia.

The Islamic courts have brought law and order back to Kismayo which was full of Moryaans and road blocks, if you can't see that progress than their is something absolutely not right about you..

There will be no Arab troops in somalia, they have been talking about it for two years, all the arabs want to do is give the ethiopians some breathing space because the somali resistance is gaining sheer strength.
Its only a mere tactic to harm the resistance.

Anyway we will see when the ethiopians fail to pull out of somalia onn the so called Djibouti agreement, that can only make us stronger and show the people that they ethiopians have no intent to leave somalia unless they are forced out.

I'm with Sheikh Sharif's peace process, it is a better and a humane way to save further unneccassry loss of Somali lives and their suffering with the same objective of achieving the Ethiopians leave Somalia.
