Mudulood Own Mogadishu. Why are we even debating this?James Dahl wrote:abgaalKing, Abgaal are not the native residents of Mogadishu, they invaded in the 1700s.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's a bit hypocritical to complain about more recent immigrants and demand that the "natives" get to run things, when the Abgaal conquered and dominated the original natives only a few hundred years ago.
Abgaal are the majority in Banaadir Region, and that they should have a say in the administration goes without saying, but there's no moral high ground to stand on here.

abgaals are and always have been the natives of xamar and as long as you live and read somaali newspapers in english you will only observe that the mayor and govornor of banadir region hails from the abgaal clan or the larger mudulood clan.
your argument that abgaal invaded the city thus implying that abgaals are the invaders of the city (which they are not in reality) has far-reaching consequences and implications which you have not considered. http://www.mudulood.com/PageA.html
moorshe and banadir clans which you mentioned are not really clans but outcasts which we(the muduloods) protect from internal and external threats.
since the establishment of the somali state in 1960 almost all mayors and govornors were from the mudulood clan expect during the dictatorial rule of mohamed siyad barre.
that period daaroodism reached at its highest level and because of it a majeerteen mayor was appointed by the dictator siyad barre to pacify the growing majerten revolt against his tribal(marehan dominated ) and authoritarian regime.
