Indhacade was never a religious person, initially they brought him on board, because of his strategic importance. When he surrendered Shabelle to the Courts, he got legitimacy to be part of them. But, all that changed when Ethiopia invaded, Daahir Aweys is in Asmara, I don't think they're as close though.

Btw, did you know that Daahir Aweys's brother Sh. Ahmed Aweys is the man who brought the Salafi Jadiid ideology to Somalia/Somalis?

Yh, man, he was a hardcore Salafi, up until they started calling Abdullahi Yusuf "Ameer al-Muslimeen" then he completely lost it & switched sides, I listened to an audio he released a few months ago, our Masjid is trying to put it on youtube soon, insha Allah.

Once you listen to that audio, it will show you how the Saudi government has always worked on destroying Somalia. He says him & many other Somali "Sheiks" were all under the payroll of the Saudis, he was even sent to Gedo in the mid-90s to cause division among al-itihad who were fighting the Ethiopians, nasty business.

Shirib, we talked about this many times, while on one hand you appluad your amir Robow's dismissal of Sheikh Sharif's peace initiatives from the beggining, on the other, you pretend to be genuinely interested in peace. Let Robow and his Shabab forces give Sheikh Sharif a chance the Ethiopians to leave and peace for Somalia? They are not interested in peace.

The only genuine Islamic Somali leader who has never sanctioned the killing of Somalis is Sheikh Sharif. He deserves the support of all Somalis who claim to possess Islamic principles. He is only seeking peace for suffering Somalis.

sheikh sharif is a very honest guy. He did not realize that the whole peace deal was a method to break up the opposition functions. That succeeded and now it is time they wanted to tell sheikh sharif the truth.
