Somaliweyn presented his position and Voltage failed to respond resorting to childish insults.

Voltage is a loony. When he loses an argument he begins to plea insanity.

Somaliweyn
Siad barre(Aun) MADE(Ilaahey ka sakow) Somalia, Aden Cadde(Aun) dont stand a chance. Gaalka diil Gartisan Sii! Siyaad barre did alot of bad things, but you cant deny, the fact that no Somali leder (alive or dead) can come close too him, let alone anything els. You can discuss all you want but deep down we all know the truth.

Air Canada wrote:One thing most Somalis will agree though, (except some Marehan who think Barre was a prophet) is Barre was a ruthless dictator whose hunger for power led Somalia on the path of destruction while Cadde as we know was the first African leader to step down peacefully. That, we can all agree..even all the phony self-acclaimed geeljire historians will tell you that.
Excellent analysis :up: :up: :up:

Hmmm! Interesting Discussion.

In my view, the civilian governments of Somalia 1960-67, and 1967-69 achieved more than the SRC government of Somalia.

1. The civilian government of Somalia led by the late president Aden Adde (60-67) build - the following infrastructures;
- The three major roads/highways in Somalia.
- The old Mogadishu Port
- Kismayo Port
- The two Bridges in Jubba with the help of the Italians Banana Company
- Mogadishu Livestock Market in Wardhiigley "Suuqa Xoolaha Ee wardhigley"
- Encourage urbanisation in cities cross Somalia i.e. in 1959 mogadishu had 200,000 Inhabitants and by 1967 the city had SIX new districts - Wardhigley,Halwadaag,Wabari ETC.

Almost 60% of the infrastructures in Somalia dates back to the 1960s.

AUN Siad barre and his regime SRC only manage to build barbara port, bosaso port and the new Mogadishu port. And few residential roads in Mogadishu and other cities.

2. According to Mohamed Jama Economic Survey of Somalia, 1955-1967 Somalia exported 20% more! and imported 40% more![1]

Exports;
- Banana
- Hides and skins
- Live-stocks

3. The civilian government of Somalia employed 15,000 men's and woman's, and successfully Defended Somalia's borders (1964) without the help of Russians hardware. And manage to build

4. The civilian government of Somalia politically kicked Ethiopians and Kenyans assess (1964).

5. The civilian government of Somalia arguably established Somalia's education system and reestablished Somali National University. [2]

Economic reference

Siad barre and Supreme Revolutionary Council/Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party turned Somalia into nation of beggers> I meant, we begged money! And we licked Russian and communist nations assess.

Funny?! What's so funny?

Name the infrastructures SRC and Siad barre manage to build? Name five-ten things SRC managed to achieve?

In addition The civilian government build, Moqadisho,the old hobyo airport,bandiredley military airport -mareeray airport, and the military airports in shabelles.
