Someone asked me at work--- 'Basra-- what did u do this weekend?" and i just responded- i spent the weekend with Catherine the great. U know, the russian empress.? I started by watching a 4 hour biography of her life, and then was so curious, i went and read gazillion of articles about her via online. So far, i know the woman more than i need to know any humanbeing. But anyway, back to my simultaneous response, or chain of thought if u will,- how does this sound? " I spent the weekend with Catherine the great' it sounds so much deeper than it is, ma ha?

WRONG! Catherine did not kill her husband for a younger guy. In fact the guy who killed Per III was even older than him. Catherine's life was in danger, Peter was unmanly, spoilt and lazy. She was ambtitious, leadership material and strong. He would have killed her if she didn't turn on him. The guy she was having affair with brither killed Peter. She still had the letter he wrote her after killing Peter without her consent. Cathy just wanted him sent away, because he sign abdication to the throne, so Cathy had no reason to kill him. I like her because she was more effective than any man leader, equally effective like Elizabeth I of England! Xidigow i am impressed u know about her! Quick google miaH?

I dont think you were anywhere near books, when I used to read about her; but back to the point, Catherine was obsessed with power, not because of vision and leadership ambitions, but rather sexuality. All she wanted in her leadership was to be able to get any men she wanted. You definitely have role model.
