We only have 6 banks and they're so regulated and huge that they literally are unassailable.
Plus they do tons of offshore banking.

Canadian banks are one (if not the most) coservatice financial systems in the world. They are tight with their lending laws and regulations. They hold large reserves and the Bank of Canada holds meetings 8 TIMES A YEAR to make sure shiit is done right.
