IMO, the jiin does not physically enter one's body. It's difficult to explain but I think the possession is telpathic in nature. This would explain the victim seemingly acting normal at times and raving mad at others. If the alien being was physically present within, the host would be in a perpetual state of majnuun. These beings have a God given abilty to move from their realm to ours freely. I also believe that every person is created with an internal receptacle wherein that human's jiin resides (the little voice within that incites to mischief). It is possible that the ifriit or jiin collaborates or forcibly takes control of this internal spirit, maybe even displaces/replaces/neutralizes it temporarily and takes over in its stead. Then again, some people see spiritual possession as nothing more than the symptoms of DID (or multiple personnality disorder) like Beyonce knowles and her jiin alter ego Sasha Fierce.
