No, no one said that to me. It's not even a word commonly used nowadays but I heard from a Tafseer tape that I was listening to. What interested me to know the exact meaning is, I love the person who is said to have used it, he is Cumar Ibnul Khattab (RA). It's one of the most interesting stories of the Khaleef when he came to a woman sitting next to a fire and her three kids crying. When he goes to the warehouse and asks the guard to load on him a sack of flour, a can of ghee and some sugar, the guard asks him "3anka am 3aleyka?" and Cumar (RA) says "Thakilatka ummuka, a anta taxmilu wizree yowmal qiyaama, i7mil calaya"
Re: Help, Arabic speakers
Sir-lugooyo, do you know that Umar bin Khatab killed the daughter of the prophet and he forced her husband Ali to give pledge to Abubakar?

Demure
you're ok, the expression is not used any more in current arab countries. "thakalatka umuka wa cadamatak" is a habaar meaning "may your mother lose you to death".
ky, present evidence backing up your statement, if not, watch what you say about Sayidinaa Cumar.
