In a short paragraph or two, I'd like every1 to say why they are a muslim? What's so special to them about Islam? You can NOT, however, base your writing on feelings..For example, "it's the right thing" or "it's the truth" aren't acceptable. Base your thought on facts, ideas that may be or someone else's...Why, is the question..Haye, let's get going..Who will start us off?

i am a muslim because my father's were muslim god bless them, i received the message of islam through them andi took it as it provide's the only logical explanations for our existence? islam is special because of the qura'n and its traditions, it has survived 1400 years without being corrupted in anyway or form thats is due to allah.

No the reason you cant answer his question is simply because you lack sufficient knowledge to do so. Don't try and kid any 1 buddy.

The reason why their Muslim is because they were raised that way. No hoo no haa… I mean its that simple.

Their whole life since birth has been about Islam being the truth and nothing but the truth. Even if its false, they cant deny it, because its about their existence.

This is probably the reason why a lot of Muslims get very violent if you say anything negative about Islam.

Majority of Somalis, have never really read or properly understood the Quran, rarely pray steadfastly or even know the thousands of hadiths and prophet stories. So how then can they articulate being Muslim one might ask?

The answer is indoctrination. When ideas and beliefs have been drilled into you very early in childhood and your entire environment has been surrounded by that, theres no way one could easily step aside from those beliefs or as I say it, indoctrination.

The only credible Muslims in my view are those well educated Muslim men or women, who understand Islam is simply submission. Who don't try and force their beliefs down peoples throat. Who know their religion from back to front in addition to other religions and can easily make comparisons. Those who never get violent when their religion is insulted but address it with eloquent communication. Those who can make peace with their way of life and the rest of the world regardless of their beliefs.

Muslims who make the world better and enhance it , instead of creating havoc aka al'qaeda.
