Obviously these groups lack the Islamic knowledge regarding Jihaad & will not listen to the clerics who have that knowledge. Some of the leaders of these groups were in Asmara during the last 3 years and are now talking about waging war. Hypocrisy is killing me.

I share your sentiment. Before it was warlordism & clan violence. Now its still warlordism but hidden by religion. Most of these group leaders' families are in safe locations away from any bullet, yet they want to bring death & destruction to thousands who have only recently returned to their homes. If they care about Islam, they would help those thousands re-settle, help build Masjids, dig wells for the masses, collect sadaqa and help feed the starving people.

They use a few thousand AU troops holed up at the airport & Kuliyada Siyaad as an excuse to make a name for themselves. Have you noticed how they all itch for public attention? Each of them competing to be heard by grabbing the microphone? The real Mujaahideen are long dead and they would never declare war at a time when all the Muslim 'uluma, both Somalis & others have said no fighting. Waa munaafiqeen and the people see them for their hypocrisy.

The 'uluma have inherited the 'ilm from the anbiyaa and have taken their place in society today, they must be respected & obeyed. If these pseudo-jihadists don't listen to the 'uluma, their end is near.

Good points Kolombo! And the biggest culprit of these useless wars is non other than Sheekh Xasan Turki. The reality of the matter is that 90% of Xisbul Islaami soldiers are Absame and I am fed up that this crazy Wadaad is wasting the lives of many innocent civilians and young and duped boys of Absame. They were killing few wounded ONLF compatriots in Kismaayo area few months ago and now when every single Somali religious scholar is demanding the fighting to stop; they are the only ones still continuing the war.
