What is with Marexaan secrecy on these forums?

I mean, lets be honest, this is a public forum for ALL opinions. Our opinions have ZERO consequence on reality in Somalia. What I say doesn't even mean shit to my dad, who has in reality, affected to a HIGH degree the TNG & TFG government's policies as well as the new Puntland Gov't, and I've PERSONALLY done more research than he has despite him having a PhD status. Yet my knowledge and work means SHIT!

This is the most crippling fact - Marexaan can only grow from the guidance or example of other Somalis. Majerteen grew from the example of Isaaqs next door, and Sacad's (Galmudug) have grown from the example of the great & holy Puntland Republic.

Marexaan will not grow alone. Marexaan want to annex regions with dozens of other clans inhabiting; from Biyamaal to Mushunguli to Ogaden to Majerteen to Dulbahante to Cawrmaale to Gaaljecel to Bajuuni, etc. etc. etc...and despite some of those SMALLER clans being submissive, some of the bigger ones will not go down without a fight - especially now that Ogaden & Majerteen have joined the Lower Jubba picture (for 10 years it was Marexaan-land) with Mucaskar Raskambooni & Mucaskar Canoole militias. So as Mahdi said on this section before, "Marexaan MUST establish a GREAT maamul in Gedo before attracting neighbors" - which is 15 years TOO late!

Fear not the Kablalax nation, join them in making a greater and stronger Southern Somalia with Mujahid Turki and Mujahid Mire and Mujahid Imaan and Mujahid Yacquub and Mujahid Abu Mansuur & make peace with Xamar to restore Somalia...we all know that Northeast and Northwest Somalia will be a cakewalk since they produce their own fanatics as well (like Ina Godane).

What I want to know is - why don't Marexaans just fully support ONE side. Obviously a maamul-goboleed will NOT work out because Marexaan are SO divided (from what I hear on this sub-forum) - so all that leaves to question is why won't they support one side of the current conflict? Even Somaliland and Puntland declared Shariah Law back in 2006 because of fear of war!

To cap off this topic, I've had MANY family members throw their lives on the line for these Salafi movements in Somalia, and any Marexaan who does the same (and I can imagine many) cannot be criticized for it - this is a movement that's had grassroots in Somalia for two decades now and it cannot be denied power. It WILL not be denied power. No Marexaan should stand in front of it since it brings such a large force.

Marexaan vs. Islamists will not happen. Lets be honest. Not without help from our imperial partner/destroyer Ethiopia.

Puntland spent nearly five years building an airport in Bosaso yet al-shabaab re-opened and renovated Kismayo's airport in just a few weeks! No more khat, no more disorder. Some of us really do have affects on what is going in Somalia. I guarantee you my advice or warsam'es..or my bro's or xoogs or murax..will reach someone's ear who has roles in our region. We aren't some people just posting here for fun, we do have great connections.

First of all u can't compare a 9 million USD infrastructural project with stakeholders ranging from the Puntland administration and the Bosaso business community to the Emir family of Sharjah (from where the name Bender Qassim originates from) to a few 10.000s USD probably chipped in by the wealthier members of the then-ICU to give the terminal building of Mogadishu International Airport a simple paint job and remove the trash in the area purely for PR purposes bro.

Khat cannot be banned from any Somali populated area, Kismayo included, period. Any maamul can ban anything for a short period. That is, assuming they indeed successfully enforced the ban of Khat.

What the South needs most when resurrecting itself is patience, I noticed that various groups in the south believe peace and prosperity can happen overnight as soon as they build a maamul. Ignoring the fact that a new maamul can become a source of renewed tensions that can spill over to clashes and fightings. Remember Puntland almost collapsed in its baby stage before 2004, and we're still walking on our toes a decade later.
