I've seen a peaceful Somalia, grew up at a time when neighbors loved each other regardless of clan, at a time when you could present the Somali passport at any airport and board a plane, when there was police & civil infrastructure, free schools & hospitals, dignity & a sense of pride, I'm grateful to have those memories. The revolutionary government was without a doubt one of our country's grand accomplishments and for those who are using cliches like "anarchy over tyranny anyday" Why aren't they living in the midst of that anarchy?
