really, is that what they teach u in Quranic schools?

never hears such nonsense in my life. the vocabulary of a language is determined by the level of knowledge of its speakers. this is why English has more than twice the number of words than the next closest language (French I think). it is because english is the language of knowledge -- science, business etc.

by the way, Somali and english are not even in the same or close language group. any similarities you find are spurious.
