How come Shareef is stagnant in rebuilding the Somali army? He's falling the way of His failed predecessors like Abdiqassim, AY in that building a strong National force would leave Himself open to be deposed by the Army in any disagreement. Yet as long as You're a Internationaly recognized President and have AU troops to protect You for a good year and a half You have nothing to worry about. You think rusty little tribal and ICU militias are going to be enough to subdue the country?

Thats the whole point. Do You know How many former cornels, generals etc. from the former SNA are still around? Theres no need for foreign training We Have Soomali trainers readily available! Gen Golaal months ago suggested to Shareef to recall the former SNA, and all that would be needed would be funding and that would be readily available if Shareef assembled something. There is no excuse for there not to be battalions already assembled, awaiting funding. Instead Xamar is lawless, people do what they want and absolutely nothing Has been done so far. Whats worse, is there are indications that Shareef is simply content sitting in Villa Somalia, travelling the world with AMISOM troops protecting Him while Soomalia burns.

Bro, i think sometimes the SNA brings bad memories for some people. Also, the average Somali back home needs rehabilitation and also needs to be immobilised, not training neccessarily. Somalia has tried using the gun since 1969 and it has not worked out in the long term. We need to have negotiation and if that doesn;t work then we should drain their support politically not through violence. Using military force to fight Alshabaab & Co is like playing fire with fire.

Anymore War is against the interests of the nation and we hope everybody realise that.
