Fah you are watching too much CNN.

Islamists do not equal a conventional army.

They are everywhere, Military, businesspeople, everyday people, women, men..its anyone who has strong religious conviction.

Taliban has many loyalists in the Army.

How did the Taliban beat the Army in all those regions, to come so close to the capital?

When you are a poor man who joined the army (and most soldiers are men of poor upbringing) you did not sign away that your loyalty to Islam, and Pakistan is an overwhelmingly conservative Muslim country.

You will see...you can't fight against an invisible hand.
