One thing I get from some elders I see discussing Majerteen they basically told Me the only Majerteen You need to know are Cismaan Maxmuud:

I love all harti, and all mjs. But the fact is my father used to tell me secretly "in times of war the soldiers are other mjs and harti" but in time of peace cisman maxamud leadership. And if u look closely, cade muse steps down, ina sharmarke steps up, ina sharmarke steps down, jamac ali jamac will stand up or some other cisman maxamuud.

Cisman maxamuud are the most educated and always leaders in time of peace, but in time of war no the other guys are.

Besides i don't think puntland should be run by mj's anymore, it should be given to dhulbahante, warsangeli, etc (mind you they must be educated). Cade muse was disgrace leadership even though he brought in most of the investments into puntland which at least something good.

Somalis think it is leadership that will give u power, well in democracy it doesn't work like that. In democracy the stronget lobby has the power and that all depends upon number of issues like "natural resources, population, wealth" which are deciding factors of who is powerful.

Good example is, look at obama he is president of america doesn't mean black people are powerful in america...lol democracy doesn't work that way. And when puntland becomes fully fledged democracy by 2011 with multi party system and hopefully a corrupton watcher, u won't see where ppl get into power and just elect ministers to their sub clans because sub clans won't be your concern as president then your main concern will be lobby groups who sit in rich regions and without their support ur government can't succeed because u need to use the oil in that region, or the gas in that region, or the population vote in that region, etc..

So watch out for warsangelis, and dhulos...their sitting on pretty rich land especially with black gold and other resources and if they form lobbies trust me they will be influencing who gets what and who doesn't and if we dont listen well they will just take away their resource filled lands and our economy collapses.

Anyways thats just hint for the jahils who still don't get the days of clanship will be over when democracy is set in stone. And i am already sure my ina adeers know this because they voted for ilkajir in the election against faroole..we starting to build ties with them because we can see where the power shift will hold.
